Onsdag:

How to excel in the application process - The Inside Story of Graduate and Vacation Employment - find out from the experts how to excel and get inside tips on employment success.

Torsdag:

14-15 Making the most of Lectures and Tutorials
This presentation describes the purpose of and what happens in lectures and tutorials and how to maximise your participation in them for the benefit of your studies. It covers active listening, writing effective notes and making connections between these activities, your assignments, tests and exams.

Fredag:

10-11 Writing for Business at University
The type of writing expected in assignments and exams will be described and modelled. The characteristics of these texts are explained, such as being logical, well structured, based on evidence and others.

14-16 Reading Strategically at University
At university you will be expected to read large amounts of information in short amounts of time. This lecture will focus on strategies to manage your reading, including locating information, interpreting texts, reading critically, summarising and note-taking.
